Match Fishing

For many years I took part in angling matches and I did pretty well. The trophies I won were nice and so was the pools money but what I enjoyed most of all was the winning. I don't care what anybody else says, being successful at anything is good for the soul.

Pleasure Fishing

However, it hasn't all been about match fishing, I guess the best times I ever had was when I was having a session with my mates. It didn't matter if it was at the side of a lake, on the banks of the river or a mucky canal, we'd put the world to rights and have a good laugh regardless if we caught any fish or not.

Tips & Anecdotes

In the first part of this book I pass on my knowledge regarding what worked for me and help me win so many matches. It isn't just a list of dry old fishing tips because I include true anecdotes to prove that they work.

True Tales

The second part of the book contains true tales that happened to me or a friend when fishing. I'm not a celebrity angler with access to private waters, I'm just an everyday angler with some funny stories to tell. I guess you've got some of your own and if you have you will probably be able to relate to these.

Entertainment

The last thing I will say about this book is that I wrote it with enternainment in mind. Yes the tips work, and if you follow them your catch rates should improve but I sincerely hope you have a good laugh when reading it.
